Copyright Infringement Notification

Karnvold respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of our educational platform to do the same. We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and other applicable intellectual property laws.

Filing a DMCA Notice

If you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement and is accessible via our platform, please notify our designated copyright agent with the following information:

A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or person authorized to act on their behalf
Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, including its location on our platform with sufficient detail to allow us to locate it

Counter-Notification Procedure

If you believe that material you posted was removed or access to it was disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification with our copyright agent by providing the following information:

Your physical or electronic signature
Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled, and the location at which the material appeared before removal
A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification
Your name, address, telephone number, and email address
A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts in your location and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notification or an agent of such person

Repeat Infringer Policy

We maintain a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers of intellectual property rights. We may also, at our sole discretion, limit access to our platform or terminate the accounts of users who infringe any intellectual property rights of others, whether or not there is any repeat infringement.

Processing Timeline

Upon receipt of a valid DMCA notice, we will take the following actions:

Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material
Notify the content provider or user that we have removed or disabled access to the material
Terminate repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances

If a counter-notification is received, we may send a copy to the original complaining party informing them that we may replace the removed material or cease disabling it. Unless the copyright owner files an action seeking a court order against the content provider or user, the removed material may be replaced or access to it restored within a reasonable time period.

False Claims

Please be aware that under applicable law, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing, or that material or activity was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, may be subject to liability. We reserve the right to seek damages from any party that submits a notification or counter-notification in violation of the law.

Educational Content

Our platform provides yoga and mindfulness training courses. We encourage all content creators and instructors to ensure they have proper rights to any materials they upload, including:

Video lessons and demonstrations
Audio recordings and guided meditations
Written materials and worksheets
Images and graphics
Music and sound recordings
